By the time dinner was finished, a servant brought over a cake and placed it on the dining table.
"Does the cake look nice?" Ye Wanwan asked.
Shen Yi nodded, though in truth, whether it looked good or not, wasn't it all just cake?
Yet, Ye Wanwan held her head high, quite haughtily, "This was made by me personally, surprised?"
"You made it?" Shen Yi seemed somewhat incredulous and asked in return.
"Of course!" Ye Wanwan was quite proud and then took the candles, inserting them into the cake one by one, "It's time to make a wish now. With the cake I made myself blessing it, your wish will surely come true!"
Shen Yi looked at Ye Wanwan, his eyes filled with laughter, and he spoke softly, "My wish has already come true."
"How has it come true already when you haven't even made a wish?" Ye Wanwan gave Shen Yi a sidelong glance, thinking he was talking nonsense again.
Shen Yi continued to look at Ye Wanwan with eyes brimming with indulgence; his wish had indeed come true.
