"Why aren't you wearing any shoes?" Shen Yi came up to Ye Wanwan, first straightened out her somewhat messy hair with his hand, and then picked her up.
Shen Yi picked up Ye Wanwan, casually turned on the bedroom light with his hand against the wall, and then carried her back to the bedroom.
He set her down at the edge of the bed, then squatted down and slipped her feet into her slippers.
Ye Wanwan just looked down at Shen Yi with a listless appearance. When Shen Yi stood back up, she lifted her head, her gaze always following him.
"Still not fully awake?" Shen Yi asked with a gentle smile, reaching out to pat her head.
Ye Wanwan did not speak, and Shen Yi then said, "Breakfast is ready, eat some and then you can sleep a bit more."
"I don't want to eat." Ye Wanwan shook her head, feeling utterly exhausted after her sleep, her mind still foggy.
