Ye Wanwan was utterly exhausted. Though Song Ziyi and a few others were still chatting in the WeChat group, she had no intention of joining in; instead, she tossed her phone aside and covered her eyes with her hand.
Lying there for a long time, Ye Wanwan eventually turned over and sat up from the bed before heading to the bathroom to take a bath.
By the time she got dressed and ready to go downstairs, it was already past ten o'clock.

Uncle Zhang agreed and went to start the car. Once Ye Wanwan was in the car, Uncle Zhang turned and asked, "Madam, where are we headed today?"
"To the police station," Ye Wanwan said calmly.
Uncle Zhang's brow furrowed with worry. "Madam, what's happened? Why are we going to the police station?"
"There's something I need to deal with," Ye Wanwan did not elaborate.
