"Mhm." Ye Wanwan murmured a response, before burying her head back into the blankets to continue sleeping.
Shen Yi, on the other hand, picked up his phone and got out of bed. It was already past eight in the morning, but because the blackout curtains were drawn, no light seeped in, giving the illusion that it was still dark outside.
Shen Yi thought that Assistant Chen was calling him about work. As he walked out, he answered the call, "Hello."
"Manager Shen, there's been trouble!"
Assistant Chen's anxious voice came through the phone, and Shen Yi's brows furrowed slightly, though his tone remained calm, "What happened?"
"Madam has been cursed out and reached the top of the trending search this morning!" Assistant Chen said.
