Nancy took a nervous sip from her glass of wine, aware that Lucas was watching her and it was really intense. She cleared her throat and licked her dry lip.
"Um... Why'd you wanna know about Clarissa's confession, I'm sure you watched the video." She said casually.
Lucas smiled slyly and poured her another drink since her glass was empty.
"You really want me to believe it was a video taken 'unaware'?" Lucas asked sarcastically
Nancy felt a lump form in her throat and she forced it down with a long gulp of wine.
Just why the heck was he interested in something that had already happened? Nancy thought
Lucas leaned forward, giving her a hard look which could break anyone's resolve.
"I need answers Nancy, what really happened that day?" He asked again
Nancy knew she had to do something quick because she was deathly close to breaking down.
She cleared her throat again and forced herself up.
