Chapter 3 - RING

"Don't you think we would need a room instead?" Sebastian suggested, barely breaking the kisses.

"Absolutely, my love," Clarissa replied, holding his hand as he led her out.

Sebastian led Clarissa into one of the rooms provided. Clarissa pulled him to the bed. Sebastian succumbed to her, unable to resist her tempting body. He drew her to the bed, Clarissa already straddling him while Sebastian had his arms around her waist.

"So tell me babe, how was your trip?" He asked.

"It was fine, and also I have good news," Clarissa replied.

"What is it?" Sebastian questioned.

"Drum rolls, please... Dum dum dum dum." Clarissa exclaimed dramatically, making Sebastian laugh.

"Okay, here goes," Clarissa took in a deep breath. "I was able to sign up with NPG Industries." She announced.

"Wait, the modelling industry?" Sebastian sat up.

"Mh-hmm." Clarissa nodded with a smile.

"WOW!! Congratulations, Babe." Sebastian gave her a kiss. "I knew you could do it."

"Thank you, Babe. Thank you for all your support." Clarissa kissed his hands making Sebastian smile widely.

"Anything for you, Risa." He replied.

"Oh, how's your dad and also the second lady?" Clarissa had gotten up from Sebastian's lap and gone to get a glass of wine.

"My father is fine," Sebastian replied.

"I miss spending time with them, especially with the second lady," Clarissa said cheerfully, giving him the glass of wine she had poured.

"You miss them more than I do?" Sebastian pouted.

"Don't be a baby." Clarissa chuckled at his look.

"But I'm your baby." Sebastian grinned mischievously. He leaned closer and Clarissa pushed his head back with her index finger making him laugh. "Come on, just kiss me,"

"Shut up." Clarissa stood up and playfully rushed into the bathroom.

Sebastian followed. "Baby, come on. One more." He said.

Clarissa laughed. "Don't come close." She giggled. However, the next thing heard was the soft moans that came from the bathroom.

.......

Marcello's gaze was fixed on the documents in front of him when the door opened.

"Marcelo." The angry voice called. Ever since Sebastian was made the CEO of ORBIT, Marcelo and his father had never in any way been happy to see that Sebastian had control of the company as the CEO.

Marcelo looked up blankly as he watched his father enter.

"What's this I'm hearing? Why is Sebastian...?"

"Dad. Relax, okay?" Marcelo stood up, both hands in his pocket.

"Relax you say?" David paced the room. "Relax, but there he is, being the CEO."

Marcelo scoffed, remembering Sebastian's smiles the moment he was made the CEO. "That bastard thinks it's all his." Marcello's face hardened a maniac glint in his eyes.

"What now?" David asked. "What now? He paced the room desperately.

Marcelo looked at the documents on the table and he smirked.

"Don't worry, I have a plan already. All we need to do is patiently wait for the right time."

It was time for Isabella's next shift and she boarded a tricycle. Isabella had three jobs. The first was at a club, where she worked as a waitress. Second was at a library downtown where her job was to clean and arrange the books properly and lastly in a restaurant where she helped ma'am Mitch in the restaurant.

One could say that these works were too much for her to cope with, however, she had to do all these works because that was her only means of survival.

The tricycle came to a stop at the restaurant and she came down after paying the driver.

"Isabella." An old plump woman waved at her and Isabella also waved back at her.

"Ma'am Mitch." She walked up to her with a smile.

"You came pretty early today." Ma'am Mitch said.

"Oh, Ma'am Mitch, you know I'm always early," Isabella replied.

Ma'am Mitch chuckled. "That being said, please help with setting the tables okay." She said and Isabella nodded.

"I'm up for the task Ma'am Mitch." She raised her arm showing her muscles which actually didn't pop out.

Ma'am Mitch laughed as she watched Isabella enter the restaurant.

"What a kid." She shook her head and walked out.

Being a strong young woman, Isabella was indeed up for the task as she had said. Entering inside the restaurant, she kept her worn-out bag in a box and then wore an apron. She took a rag and went off to clean and set the tables.

It was already the late hours of the evening but the restaurant was still full of people, mostly men who just wanted to relieve the stress of the day's work.

"Isa, where's my drink?" A man shouted.

"She was supposed to serve me first." Another argued.

"Please be patient with me everyone!" Isabella shouted from the rear end where she refilled the cups of alcohol.

"Here you go." She dropped one on the table and the other on another table.

"Thanks, girl," The customer responded taking the cup and focusing on his drink again.

"Are you still feeling pain, Mr. Andrew?" Isabella asked the customer.

"What? No. I'm as strong as an ox." The man replied.

Isabella smiled. "That's good to know, Sir."

"Isa, another round of fried chicken here." A man called.

"Fried Chickens coming up soon," Isabella shouted back and set off to get the chicken.

"Really, just Isabella." One of the employees frowned.

"I know right? It's not like she's the only one here." Another added also frowning as she watched Isabella.

Isabella noticed their grudges and came to them with a smile. "Hey guys, can you get the order for table 10?" She asked staring at the two girls.

"Why don't you do it yourself, you are up for the task, right?" One of the girls said and scoffed. Turning away she left.

Isabella bit her lip, her brown eyes darting back and forth in a strained anger. So be it, she had to control her anger and focus on her job if she really needed to survive.

...…

Back in B CITY.

Sebastian and Lucas got out of the car they both stared at the park and at the area where Sebastian had ordered it to be decorated.

"You really wanna do this?" Lucas asked.

Sebastian brought out a small red box from his pocket which he opened. Inside was a silver ring with a diamond-like stone at the top. He smiled.

"Yes. She's the one I love. It has been my promise to her, I had waited for her to come back." He replied. Ever since he saw Clarissa again, he couldn't forget the intense moment they shared. The moment that made his heartbeat.

Lucas brought out a remote from his pocket and pressed a button. The lights in the park came on.

Sebastian and Lucas shared a look.

"Let's get to work," Sebastian said.
