At the company.
Due to a lack of sleep the night before, Song Yan didn't look very well today.
The assistant knocked on the door and reported that a Mrs. Qin was looking for her, and shortly after, Qin Yao entered.
"Mom," Song Yan poured her a glass of water and sat down with her on the couch.
Qin Yao looked at her with concern and asked, "Yanyan, why do you look so pale? Are you sick?"
"I stayed up late last night and didn't sleep well, but it's nothing."
Qin Yao held her hand and said earnestly, "Are you tired? Yanyan, you must take care of yourself. Don't be like your dad. When he was young, he never took his health seriously and threw himself entirely into his work. As a result, he passed away before he even reached fifty."
Song Yan froze completely; her eyes, slightly reddened, stared intensely at Qin Yao, her lips trembling, "What did you say?"
"Yanyan, you…" Qin Yao was taken aback as if she realized something, "You don't know yet?"
