Wei Shiran looked at her, "What is it? Is there a problem?"
Her expression was one of embarrassed awkwardness, still somewhat unnatural.
Li Rao shook her head, not speaking again, just in time as it was her turn in the queue. After paying, she pushed her cart out, with Wei Shiran following behind her.
At the cart return area, Li Rao lifted the bags out of her cart. Just as she pushed the cart into the return slot and felt the weight leave her hand, Wei Shiran took the shopping bags from her.
He said, "A gentleman should be polite and elegant. Doing this is correct, isn't it?"
Since she had described him that way in front of others, he had to live up to the name.
Most of what she bought were household items, many of which were heavy. Even though their home was just a short walk and an elevator ride away, it was still somewhat surprising to see a delicate young lady like her handling these chores herself.
