Song Yan stood up and walked over to his side. It was only upon closer inspection that she discovered a red bloody mark on the back of his neck. It must have been cut by one of the boxes thrown at them at the café. They hadn't noticed it at the time, and it wasn't until he had finished showering and cleaned up that the wound was clearly visible.
