Exiting on the first floor leads directly to an upscale shopping mall, and in one corner of the mall is a supermarket. Li Rao pushed a shopping cart inside and turned back to see Wei Shiran being stopped at the entrance, the staff wouldn't let him enter.
Wei Shiran, who was stopped, furrowed his brow. He hadn't expected to pass through every high-class, members-only establishment with ease, only to be barred from entering a supermarket.
"That's my wife, we're together," he pointed to the already distant Li Rao and said to the door staff.
But the staff didn't care. With Li Rao too far to confirm it, they still wouldn't let him through.
Wei Shiran was considering whether to call Li Rao to ask her to come back and get him, but it seemed like a hassle, so he thought about just letting it go.
Just then, he heard someone call his name, but he didn't recognize her or remember who she was.
