A crowd of onlookers dropped their glasses—wasn't the principal there to make trouble for Gu Xiaoer?!

They all widened their eyes, imagining the scene: If it weren't for the principal's relationship with a female student, he probably would have taken Gu Xiaoer's hand right there.
"Xiaoer, I really had no choice but to ask for your help..." Principal Wang looked as woeful as a chrysanthemum, nearly begging in his tone.
Gu Xiaoer stood in stunned silence for three seconds, then quickly pretended to steady the principal in alarm, "Principal, please don't do this. Tell me what you need, and I'll listen." Dear principal, please don't put me in a difficult position!
Principal Wang sighed frustratingly, "Actually, it's not that difficult. I just need you to deliver a document to Shenghan Group. Xiaoer, could you do this for the principal?"
Delivering a document?
Did he really need to come to the girls' dorm room personally to ask her?
"Principal, do you really need me to deliver the document?" Gu Xiaoer hesitated; she wasn't unwilling but had a feeling it wasn't as simple as it seemed.
Before she could ask further, the girls around her exploded with excitement.
"Principal, it's just a document. I can do it too!" Xu Yanyan stood to one side, her eyes wide with excitement.
What a chance to go to Shenghan Group openly—why should Gu Xiaoer be the one to go? There were plenty others who would jump at the opportunity!
"Principal, I can do it too, let me deliver it! Let me go, please!" Another voice joined in, creating a commotion.
The narrow corridor of the girls' dorm was jam-packed, some even grabbed at the principal's clothes, fighting for the chance to deliver the document.
Gu Xiaoer exchanged a glance with Ai Le; what was with these people? Was such drama really necessary?
"Enough!" Principal Wang pulled his ruffled clothes back into place, his face darker than thunder, "This has nothing to do with you! Disperse, all of you!"
His angry words were a stark contrast to the way he had spoken to Gu Xiaoer.
The noisy girls instantly fell silent, looking at each other in hushed quiet.
This scene was too much for Ai Le; she quickly suggested, "Principal, why not come into our dorm and talk? Both Xiaoer and I are here, so you don't have to worry about idle gossip."
The principal looked at Ai Le, nodding with satisfaction. She seemed carefree, almost like a boy, but was actually quite considerate. He had been reluctant to enter the dormitory because of the proper distance between teachers and students and fear of gossip.
With three people present, there was no fear of rumors spreading.
The three of them entered the dormitory, closed the door, and completely kept the crowd at bay.
"Principal, what's going on? You need to make it clear before I can agree to help you!" Gu Xiaoer invited the principal to sit on the small stool in their dorm, while she stood to one side, listening obediently.
"Ah, it's all Guo Ting's fault! I asked her to take the document to the service desk, but she sneaked up to the senior management offices without knowing her place, got caught by security, and, on top of that, acted arrogantly…"
As he spoke, Principal Wang glanced at Gu Xiaoer.
"What did she arrogantly claim, Principal?" Ai Le passed him a cup of warm water and chimed in, "Principal, was it that Xiaoer has a shady relationship with the President of Shenghan, or even that he's her sugar daddy? Ha ha ha!"
"Miss Ai!" Principal Wang called out, nodding slightly, "It's roughly that idea, but Guo Ting's actions have caused a huge negative impact."
Gu Xiaoer and Ai Le exchanged a knowing look; it seemed they understood some things now.
