In the dorm, Gu Xiaoer was struggling between going home and not, when the half-closed door was pushed open and several flashy girls entered.
It took Gu Xiaoer a while to recognize that these were their neighboring dorm mates and classmates.
"You guys, do you have to be so exaggerated…" Gu Xiaoer opened her mouth halfway, dryly unsure of what expression to make.
Zhu Li from the neighboring dorm actually thought Gu Xiaoer was dazzled by them and boasted with pride, "How about that, pretty attractive, huh!"
Frowning, she gave four truthful words, "Hard to describe!"
Zhu Li took it as a compliment from Gu Xiaoer, "I went to many dorms, and they all said it looked good!"
Gu Xiaoer just nodded dumbly, not wanting to make any snide remarks, but simply asked, "Lili, what's with the elaborate get-up? What are you guys doing?"
Zhu Li opened her mouth in surprise, then smugly showed off, "Xiao Er, you don't know? We're members of the welcome team!"
She looked so proud, as if she were more exaggerated than "I'm Princess Consort Kate."
"Oh!" Gu Xiaoer was quite uninterested, just waiting for them to leave.
Ai Le leaned in and interjected, "So the selection is already over?"
"Exactly!" Xu Yanyan, who was also posing affectedly beside Zhu Li, nodded, "They only chose ten people, meaning we fit the criteria and stood out, so we were selected."
"Exactly, if it were me, they wouldn't even take a glance," Gu Xiaoer said with a laugh, eager to get rid of them. The strong scent of their makeup wasn't pleasant at all, not as nice as her Baby Cream.
"Enough with that..." Ai Le couldn't stand their gloating, if it weren't for the fact that her Xiao Er hadn't signed up, these girls wouldn't have had their moment.

In the dorm, only Ai Le's hearty laughter remained.
Gu Xiaoer rubbed her forehead and decided to go home, missing that person a little after a day apart.
