Zhong Lingling, determined to find out what was going on, pulled open the door. Sure enough, there were two attendants dressed in royal uniforms standing on both sides, and upon seeing Zhong Lingling peek out, they immediately said with respect, "Miss Zhong, may I ask if there is anything you need help with?"
Startled, Zhong Lingling quickly withdrew her head and shut the door again. She stood with her back to the door, her breathing quickening.
Even though everyone she had met since waking up had been very respectful, suddenly finding herself in a completely unfamiliar place naturally made Zhong Lingling feel very unsettled and scared.
She wanted to return to her country! She wanted to go home!
Zhong Lingling calmed herself after a while and opened the door again.
The attendants were still very respectful and repeated the same sentence, "Miss Zhong, may I ask if there is anything you need help with?"
