"What the hell is this?"
Pei Yang was puzzled to find a small packet of powder mysteriously added to his bag. As he casually picked it up, intending to open it to see what it was, a young stranger suddenly approached him.
"Mr. Pei?"
Pei Yang looked at the other person, confused, "Who are you?"
The young man didn't answer but thrust several banknotes into his hands and snatched the object from his grasp, turning on his heel to leave.
Pei Yang, clutching the money, hadn't even had time to react when several plainclothes police officers suddenly appeared—
"Don't move!"
"Get down!"
Not until his hands were shackled with the icy metallic handcuffs did Pei Yang understand what exactly was happening.
"What are you doing?"
One of the officers smacked him hard on the back of the head and barked, "Behave yourself! Don't you know what we're doing here?"
Pei Yang was so confused that he didn't show any temper at all.
Who else could use handcuffs if not the police?
