The year quickly passed away in a merry and lively atmosphere.

Xuanbao wanted to see the lanterns, and so did the other children, so Ruo Shui took them into the city to enjoy the lantern display.
The rest of the Ruo Family were not going, they had seen it before, and although it was the New Year, they had not been idle at home. As long as there were no relatives to visit, they spent their time at home copying books or making furniture, busy until late into the night, never resting.
The whole family was working hard to earn silver, hoping to live better and better.
