When her gaze collided with Jing Peng's, a look of disdain flashed through his eyes.
He furrowed his brow, pretended not to recognize Tang Ying, and sat down at the empty table next to them.

Yang Hongxing was startled, looked up, and scanned the restaurant, spotting Jing Peng at the neighboring table.

Jing Peng gave a noncommittal grunt, not even asking Yang Hongxing about her release from prison.
"Haven't seen you in months, Jing Peng, you've gotten more handsome," Yang Hongxing said with a smile.
Then, noticing Tang Ying's disheveled appearance, she quickly said to her, "Clean your face off."
