In the lobby of Tianxiangyuan Grand Hotel in the heart of the city, the area was now tightly surrounded by several dozen tall men dressed in black suits, making it impenetrable. Many of the guests who had just checked into the hotel were peering towards a corner near the windows of the lobby, where two extraordinary men were engaged in a standoff.
One of them was a young man in his mid-twenties, sporting a pair of gold-rimmed glasses on his nose, giving him a scholarly look, and exuding an elegance like that of a refined gentleman.
Sitting opposite the young man was a man in his early forties.
