Desolate City lies in the middle of the Guanzhong Plain, to the north, it borders the Wei River, and to the south, it leans on the Qinling Mountains. Eight rivers nourish Chang'an, and it is a "World Historical City" determined by UNESCO in 1981. It is one of the important birthplaces of Hua Country's civilization and the starting point of the Silk Road.
