Chen Feng took the lead, cutting a path ahead, with Meriya following closely. They moved forward, guided by the glow sticks dangling above. Chen Feng hadn't expected the cavern to be so vast, maze-like; without the glow sticks to guide them, one would have no idea where to go.
The path descended steadily, and as they went deeper, the terrain of the cavern dropped and the temperature lowered. After squeezing through a particularly narrow passage, they reached a precipice overlooking a dark abyss that seemed bottomless and of unknown height, with no direct path across it anymore.
Chen Feng noticed that someone had strung a rope across to the other side and had used a pulley to cross. However, the pulley was gone from the rope, likely taken away by the person who used it.
"Chen Feng, what should we do? How can we get across?" Meriya, obviously noticing the dilemma, asked anxiously.
"No worries, just watch me, I'll take you across."
