"Miss, from your accent, you don't seem to be from Yanjing. Are you here on a trip?" the woman asked Lin Xinru.
Lin Xinru nodded, not saying a word; she was unwilling to share too much about herself with a stranger. She glanced at her watch and decided to wait another half hour. If the other person didn't show up, she would go back to the hotel and think of another solution tomorrow.
This uninvited woman didn't seem to mind Lin Xinru's attitude at all and still wore a smile on her face as she continued, "Miss, are you waiting for someone?"
For some reason, seeing the smile on her face made Lin Xinru's originally anxious and unsettled heart calm down a bit; she now felt a touch of interest in the uninvited woman, "You could say that."
"Did the other party stand you up?" The woman asked, noticing Lin Xinru's slightly impatient demeanor.
"You could say that." Lin Xinru took a sip of coffee.
