Only Tang Ye, Wang Jianjia, and Lingyun remained at Shennongjia. The three now dwelt at the campsite Wang Jianjia previously set up, complete with tents, so there was no need to endure the hardship of sleeping in the open air. Tang Ye had hunted a wild hare and foraged some wild vegetables, returning to make a delicious dinner.
Observing that Wang Jianjia seemed uncomfortable, Lingyun expressed her concern, "Sister Jianjia, are you hurt? Shall I play a healing melody for you?"
Wang Jianjia blushed in embarrassment and smiled faintly at Lingyun, saying, "Thank you, Yuner, but I'm fine. Although I am indeed injured, it's a favor owed to someone. I just need some rest."
The discomfort Wang Jianjia felt was the painful result of being forcefully deflowered by Tang Ye—an invasive, brutish act. It wasn't something she could easily explain to Lingyun, so she simply brushed it off with a laugh.
