The transformation of the Crimson Purple Spirit Python left everyone dumbfounded, as Tang Ye and the women of Luo Hua Cave had no idea how to describe it. The severe crack on the head of the Crimson Purple Spirit Python didn't lead to its death but seemed to aid in its metamorphosis, as another head sprouted out!
It was common to see mythical beasts grow bigger and their skin harder after transformation, or even grow new things like spikes on their body, which was still within the realm of acceptance. But growing an additional head was utterly inconceivable. Both humans and mythical beasts mostly have just one head, unless they were a specific type like the three-headed dog or the nine-headed hydra. But those were creatures of legend and myth and were born that way. However, the Crimson Purple Spirit Python grew another head after transforming!
