For a spacious place like the Murong estate, if only the Murong family lived there, it would certainly seem very desolate. The Murong family members aren't breeding pigs, so it was not possible for each to produce a football team of children. However, there were quite a few individuals within the Murong family; as Tang Ye drove along, he often saw groups of two or three people.
There were fashionably dressed girls walking dogs, traditionally attired men practicing martial arts, and quite a few elderly men sitting together, chatting and laughing. It didn't feel like a family but more like a community, comprising hundreds of households.
