The Ancient Buddha pushed his palm towards Tang Ye, signaling that the force he had previously suppressed upon Tang Ye was being withdrawn. Tang Ye was thus able to break free and immediately retreated, avoiding the Ancient Buddha's attack. However, since the Ancient Buddha himself had attained enlightenment through committing sacrilege against the Buddha, his strength was naturally not so simple. The force he pushed out with his palm, like an active beast, clung to Tang Ye without letting go.
Tang Ye leapt and dodged, and as soon as he landed, he felt that force pursuing him again, forcing him to evade once more. Time after time, he was like being chased by an invisible beast. But he did not panic; he jumped in front of a large pillar, waited for that force to strike, then dodged again. The force hit the pillar and slowed, and Tang Ye therefore found an opportunity to release the Power of Withered Wood Spring.
