As evening approached, Tang Ye, Zhou Sisheng, and others arrived at the Yundian airport where Zhu Zehong, director of Yundian Health Bureau, personally received them, arranged hotel accommodations, and planned to depart early the next morning by car to the mountains. The medicinal materials grew in remote mountainous areas; it would take about five or six hours by bus from the city.
At the hotel, of course, there was no avoiding a shared meal. Zhu Zehong was known for his integrity and was not the type of pedantic official. He didn't lavish excessive favors on Tang Ye and the others. The meal took place at the hotel and, though it was a feast, it was reasonably priced and didn't cost tens of thousands for one dinner.
