Song Cheng and Leng Lin looked out at Chen Village from the courtyard, their complexions looking rather grim.
The village had undergone some noticeable changes compared to when they had visited before.
"Before that, we might as well take a walk around the village."
Chen Feng spoke again, instructing Xiaoying and the other three to stay in the courtyard to take care of the Sun sisters while he, along with Song Cheng and Leng Lin, stepped out of the courtyard.
Chen Village was a very traditional mountain village with mostly brick houses. As Chen Feng and his companions strolled through it, they didn't notice anything particularly odd.
However, there were quite a few empty houses in the village. The villagers said that in recent years, many young people had gone out to work and had not returned.
Naturally, their houses were left vacant.
