Seeing her smug appearance, I felt even worse inside. I bowed deeply to her and said, "Sister Cai, I was wrong. I truly didn't realize all of this was his arrangement."
Hearing my words, Sister Cai burst into loud laughter, which sounded somewhat terrifying.
It took her a while to stop laughing, then she said, "Qin Qin, now you finally understand who the good people are, right? So, what do you plan to do next?"
Choking up, I said, "Sister Cai, I will absolutely have nothing to do with him from now on." By now, that was the only promise I could make.
Sister Cai seemed very pleased upon hearing my words, nodding her head in satisfaction.
After speaking, I turned around to leave, only to be stopped by Sister Cai again.
I turned back, looking at her with confusion, not understanding why she had called me back, if there was anything else.
