With that thought, I got up without further ado and headed for the engineering department. Right as I arrived, Hai Qiang was coming out. Seeing me, he greeted me warmly.
"Mr. Lin." Realizing I was headed straight for him, Hai Qiang stopped in his tracks and stood quietly, waiting for me.
I walked up to him quickly, and slapped my hand onto his shoulder, "I need to talk to you."
Hai Qiang appeared momentarily stunned, but then he spoke, "Mr. Lin, if there's something you need, just say it."
I didn't beat around the bush, and got straight to the point, "Qian Zhirou has been transferred to the southwestern branch. Her position is now vacant, and I hope you can fill it."
Hai Qiang seemed shocked by the news I brought, staring at me dumbfounded before finally managing to speak, "Me? Can I really do it? I'm not nearly as savvy as Director Qian, I'm sure I can't handle it."
