After having a sickeningly sweet time with Zheng Yufei, we too arrived at the food court of the mall. Despite the closure of the other shops on the lower levels, the food court was still bustling with noise.
After much deliberation, Zheng Yufei eventually chose a barbecue restaurant.
We had just sat down when a guy wearing an apron came up to us, "Here's the menu for the two of you. Take a look and see what you'd like to eat, just call me if you need anything."
I handed the menu to Zheng Yufei and went to get the sauce myself. Since I didn't know what Zheng Yufei liked, I got her a portion of several different condiments.
By the time I returned, Zheng Yufei had already placed our order and the guy had gone to prepare our dishes. I handed the plate to Zheng Yufei, "Do you want to drink something?"
Zheng Yufei pondered for a moment, "How about some beer? I remember their fresh brew is quite good." And so, along with the plates of meat, two big mugs of frothy beer arrived.
