I felt a bit embarrassed, not sure how to thank the young man since it was to save me that he ended up in this predicament.

The young man curled his lips slightly, "As long as you're okay. You don't know how scared I was when I heard you say you didn't want to live either. I was really worried you'd jump down with her."
Listening to the young man changing the subject, I tacitly played along, "I never intended to go down, I just wanted to trick Min'er into coming down. I know mental illness is a serious matter, but I didn't expect that she would want to end her life the moment she was out of sight."
