I rolled my eyes silently, my disdain plain to see. Chu Wenjie had a face full of silent complaints, his eyes brimming with grievance, as if he were a little girl.
"So, is it possible that you never really gave me a chance to speak?" I replied, rolling my eyes.
Hearing my response, Chu Wenjie fell into silence, because he had never given me the chance to speak to begin with and then just cooked up this whole drama before running off.
Chu Wenjie pursed his lips, as if trying to straighten out his thoughts, while I nonchalantly picked up the fruit on the table and started eating. My head still felt heavy, so I didn't dare to eat anything as firm as an apple.
Finally coming to his senses, Chu Wenjie looked at me with an expression that said it all, "Okay, this is my fault, but you're not blameless either. Standing by the window so early in the morning, how frightening."
