We chatted for a while longer, and seeing that it was about time, we set off directly for the police station. On the way there, Jing An asked a few questions, "So you're planning to target Yi Xiufen?"
I shrugged, "Besides Yi Xiufen, who else would be more suitable?"
Jing An observed my expression in the rearview mirror, and though he was very cautious, I still noticed it. But I wanted to see what Jing An was up to, so I pretended not to have seen anything and continued to look down at the documents.
Seeing that I had no reaction, Jing An casually brought it up, "But after all, she's a woman. Isn't it a bit unethical to target a woman?"
I looked up with a half-smile, meeting Jing An's gaze in the rearview mirror, "In the eyes of the law, everyone is equal. You, as a top lawyer, must understand that better than me. Besides, if someone commits a crime, who cares whether they're male or female?"
