Su Wen had just reached the doorway when he saw Yuan Li helping Gao Xiaoqian with her clothes, sitting by the bed. His appearance seemed oddly out of place, as if he were intruding.
Su Wen shifted his stiff body, thinking he should just run off, especially since Gao Xiaoqian now had Yuan Li by her side. He could pretend he had never been here.
So, he turned to leave.
But he moved slowly, and before his body had even fully turned, he heard Gao Xiaoqian suddenly call out to him.
"Doctor Su!"
Su Wen turned back with an awkward smile.
Yuan Li, on the other hand, saw Su Wen and immediately came over to greet him.
As if he knew nothing.
He hugged Su Wen at once.
"Su, I've missed you to death these past few days."
Su Wen was so nervous he couldn't even speak.
He asked with a stutter, "Yuan Li, what are you doing here!"
