Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Trouble

Su Wen, tall and imposing, was sat on a chair. When he looked down from above, he happened to see the beautiful sight in front of Zhang Cuilan.

But the next second, Su Wen's brows furrowed tightly. His gaze penetrated Zhang Cuilan's body and he noticed that the surging blood vessels had turned a dark red and black color, and the blood flow was also abnormally slow.

"This is..."

Sudden medical knowledge sprouted in Su Wen's mind.

Darkened blood vessels were due to low oxygen content in venous blood, possibly indicating an abnormal exchange of blood and oxygen, greatly increasing the likelihood of a respiratory dysfunction.

Put simply, it meant that Zhang Cuilan might be experiencing respiratory failure and heart failure.

"What's wrong, Wen?" Seeing Su Wen standing still, Zhang Cuilan chuckled lightly and tugged his hand towards the bath towel, "Come feel it, is it big? Have you become too proud for your sister after studying in the city?"

"No, no,"

Su Wen hurriedly withdrew his hand, shaking his head like a rattle and said with a wry smile, "How could I look down on you, Sister? Everyone in the village knows how beautiful you are."

"Then what are you waiting for, don't leave today."

She stuck out her tongue and licked her tempting lips.

"No, Sister, it looks like you've got something on you," said Su Wen, reaching out to feel on her body.

Her black blood vessels were concentrated around her heart, brain, both arms, and thighs.

"Cut it out, why the act? Don't you want it?" Zhang Cuilan said coquettishly, her cheeks flushing a hint of red.

Su Wen ignored her and kept feeling.

The situation inside Zhang Cuilan's body could lead to the formation of blood clots. Coupled with breathing difficulties, she could be lively one second and suddenly drop dead the next.

"I really underestimated you, Su Wen. You're ready for action even in broad daylight," Zhang Cuilan said discontentedly, but her face showed delight.

Su Wen took a deep breath and slowly moved his hand away from Zhang Cuilan's body, "Sister, you really should go to the hospital for a check-up," he said. "Do you feel a bit off every day after getting up or after showers?"

"Hmm, almost every day at that time, I feel itchy and uncomfortable," she replied.

Su Wen was somewhat speechless, "No, Sister, I'm talking about how your body feels, like chest tightness and shortness of breath."

Seeing Su Wen's serious expression, Zhang Cuilan grew solemn too, "Now that you mention it, I really do feel it, but I thought it was a minor issue and didn't pay much attention."

"This is no minor issue," Su Wen quickly warned her, "Sister, you should really go to the hospital. This thing could be life-threatening."

Zhang Cuilan took two steps back, "Really? You're not trying to scare me, are you?"

"Just take a few X-rays, get a chest X-ray, a CT scan or whatever, check if there's anything wrong with the blood vessels."

"Alright."

Zhang Cuilan thought it over and decided that getting checked was reasonable—to be prepared just in case.

She picked up the keys from the bedside table, smiling, "Then Sister will go and get checked out at the hospital; you wait for me at home. If they say there's nothing wrong, I'll make sure you turn into a dried corpse tonight."

As she said this, she pulled a face at Su Wen.

Zhang Cuilan wore a floral dress and a pair of white shoes. While not at the cutting edge of fashion, she possessed a distinctive beauty.

A dried corpse?

On hearing this, Su Wen shuddered all over.

A few minutes after Zhang Cuilan left, Su Wen felt bored and decided to leave, but then started cursing under his breath.

The front door had been chained shut, leaving Su Wen speechless—how much did they not want him to leave?

An hour later.

The door was suddenly flung open, startling Su Wen who had been admiring the various styles of lingerie in the wardrobe, making him shudder all over again.

Suddenly, Zhang Cuilan ran in, crying her eyes out, and threw her bag on the bed as if she had suffered a great injustice.

Seeing her cry with a face like a rainy pear blossom, Su Wen asked with concern, "What's wrong, Cuilan? Did someone bully you at the hospital?"

No sooner had he finished speaking, Zhang Cuilan cried even louder.

"Ahhh... what sins have I committed?"

"I've always been law-abiding, never did anything bad, so why has God treated me this way?"

"I don't want to die without knowing what a man feels like. Wen, you give yourself to Sister."
