Bai Kemeng had booked a double room and left it under Su Wen's name. He simply showed his ID at the reception, got the room card, and upon entering, found Ding Yingying and Bai Kemeng asleep in one bed, while the other, meant for him, was vacant.
Su Wen had intended to slip into bed quietly and call it a night, but his movements still woke Ding Yingying up.
