After giving Liu Die quite a scare, Su Wen suddenly burst out laughing and stopped.
"Just kidding."
Su Wen released his grip and lay down next to Liu Die, "Seriously though, are you really going to work in the city? The pharmacy can pay you a salary too."
"Why, to stay here and play mistress with you?" Liu Die pulled over one of Su Wen's arms to use as a pillow and greedily inhaled his scent.
Su Wen likewise turned to caress Liu Die's hair, "There's a bit of that intention."
Liu Die shook her head, "I still want to do my own thing, wait for you to be free and come find me in the city."
In the end, Su Wen couldn't persuade Liu Die to stay. He actually had a hunch, but he wanted to make the effort to try anyway.
Early the next morning, Liu Die didn't wait for everyone to wake up, she quietly left on her own.
