The nurse glanced at Zhang Hao and said the patient was in poor condition and needed a blood transfusion.
Blood transfusion is nothing out of the ordinary in an emergency room.
And he knew his dad's blood type.
"Okay, I'll take care of it right away, please make sure to save my father."
It wasn't until the latter half of the night that his father was wheeled out of the emergency room.
Though he was out of danger, he still had to be observed in the ICU overnight until his vital signs stabilized, after which he could be moved to a general ward to recuperate.
Zhang Hao didn't sleep all night, and neither did his mother.
But the ICU was not a place one could enter and leave at will.
The next day, as soon as dawn broke, Zhang Hao returned with a few buns and some soy milk.
