Despite Chen Xiaolong's quick reaction to wash off the lipstick marks from his mouth in the bathroom, he was still caught by Xu Xiaoting who noticed something was off.
This little girl was not easy to fool!
When Chen Xiaolong finished washing up and came out, he saw an angry Xu Xiaoting waiting for him.
"Ahem, well, the weather is quite nice today."
Chen Xiaolong gave an awkward smile and then took off running.
But the quick-witted girl grabbed his arm in an instant and smelled him carefully.
It would have been better if she hadn't smelled him because as soon as she did, she smelled the scent of women's perfume which made Xu Xiaoting so angry that she gritted her teeth.
"Ahhh, Xiaolong, you went to see that flirty woman again, didn't you? I'm so mad! Are you being fair to my mom? To me?"
Xu Xiaoting was relentless in her questioning of Chen Xiaolong.
