As time passed, the poisoning incident was initially brought under control.
The main reason was that the source of the poison had been found; it was the well at the back of the village. With the village council's order to temporarily stop using this well, no other villagers were poisoned.
But even though the poisoning incident was controlled, the villagers were still panicked.
"Hey, have you heard that the well behind our village was poisoned?"
"What's going on? Such a thing actually happened. Hasn't the village council found the culprit yet?"
