In the office, as he was dealing with his work, Chu Shuyuan walked over to the door and spoke to Ji Yang.
"Okay." Ji Yang immediately stood up.
The people from the office of Party and government affairs had grown accustomed to Chu Shuyuan occasionally standing at the door, calling Ji Yang over.
Miao Xiaoying and Chen Yongwei were especially pleased to see this. Having become Ji Yang's people, they were now effectively aligned with Secretary Chu's faction, and could already see their own futures unfolding.
Wu Guoping was the most sullen among them, currently saying nothing, but it was evident to everyone that he wasn't particularly invested in Ji Yang's affairs. He couldn't quite adjust to the new situation and Ji Yang hardly tasked him with anything significant, relegating him to essentially the coldest bench in the office of Party and government affairs.
