Cheng Yu put down the newspaper in his hand, peach blossom eyes filled with smiles. He lifted his sleeve to his nose and sniffed, then teased.
"Since when did my stepmother grow a cat's nose?"
He didn't explain as if he had taken my words for granted, which left a bitter taste in my heart.
I glared at his eyes and said with disgust, "It's not that my nose is sensitive, it's just that the scent of your cologne is too overpowering."
Cheng Yu turned his head, his slender fingers gently brushing my nose tip, "I think I smell it too, not the scent of perfume, but a sour smell."
His eyes twinkled with amusement, his hand resting on the back of my neck, fingers playing gently, hinting at provocation, "Got nothing to ask?"
I pushed his arm away, expressionless, I asked him, "Mr. Cheng, what do you want me to ask?"
