I was sleeping soundly but it was suddenly interrupted by a loud noise. A big mechanical door had begun to slide open and I was blinded by the lights as the warehouse where I was stored began to light up.
A group of people in uniforms walked through a normal-looking door. They had white pants and a blue military-like jacket.
They had cards in their hands and were walking to their designated mechs
There was a girl with beautiful white long hair and pretty eyes as blue as the sky. She walked over toward the area where my mech was and she looked like she was in a bad mood.
She pulled out a card that said RB-23 and slammed it on the desk next to the mech station I was at.
She went behind the changing curtains, of course, I was taller than the curtains and could see all her curves. She was so beautiful that I was stunned. She took off her uniform and wore and black suit with some mechanical-looking designs on it especially where her chest resides.
She flipped the curtains aggressively and grabbed the card. She began to walk towards me. She went to my back and climbed the stairs to my back.
She slid the card on my back and a small core came out. She put the core where her chest was and her armor began to glow.
She kicked my back and put her hand on my back.
"Open up you piece of shit!"
I then saw a prompt to open my back for her to enter. I wonder why she was so mad. She didn't have to kick and swear at me. I'm not a defective mech, right?
I opened my back and once fully opened, She walked into me.
Ever since she put my core inside her chest I could feel that we somehow linked.
She looked at the controller and she started commanding me.
"RB-23 turn on"
I saw a prompt for me to turn on my system but RB-23? It seems to be my name but I don't want to be named like that.

The girl looked confusingly at this status window
"That's weird this has never happened before? Is this junk broken?"

"Can you please turn that pinging noise off it will get annoying if it goes off every time you open a window"
I looked into my settings and saw the system notification and I put it on silence.

"Uhh? Yes it's good now"
Why does she look so confused? She put my core into her chest and we can talk now right….
Maybe mechs are not sentient… oh shit I fucked up. If it comes out I may be studied on, broken apart to figure out why I have intelligence.

"Everyone report to the courtyard training will soon begin.
*sigh
"Uhh? I hope this mech isn't busted"
She began making me run towards the open doors.
I'll play it safe and pretend to act like a normal mech for now.
