"Hmm, that was interesting," I say, setting the sword down.
Ariella's eyes widen in shock. Beside her, Bella's reaction mirrors the same astonishment.
"Master Asteria, are you… done?"
"Why, yes, I am." I reply casually.
"But it hasn't even been ten minutes yet!" Ariella exclaims.
I tilt my head slightly. "And how long did you expect it to take me?"
"Well… shouldn't it take days?" Ariella hesitates. "Or at least several hours? And more importantly, the Arcanum inscriptions don't seem to affect you at all! Did you truly examine it thoroughly?"
"Oh?" I raise an eyebrow. "Are you doubting me?"
"No! No, of course not!" she quickly clarifies, waving her hands in front of her. "It's just too unbelievable!"
She does have a point.
