After that incident involving the Etherbloom and Hawksmoor family, Ariella has dispatched guards to protect Curtis' family and relocated them to a safer place to ensure their security. She also hired a magic teacher to assist Lumi with her studies.
Meanwhile, Yumi is now officially a Beginner Mage and has been taking various missions outside of the city, mostly gathering materials and some light training. It's only been a few months, yet she's going to take the rank-up test soon to become an Apprentice Mage.
And just like with the wolf children, similar precautions are taken for her safety, with guards assigned by Ariella.
