I immediately rush to the bed. There, among the ice crystals, I see her, my dear Anna. She's not a little girl anymore; she's grown into a young and beautiful woman. But I still recognize her face. The small, delicate lips and button nose she inherited from Mom. Her long, fluttering eyelashes are from Dad. And there they are, three little moles under her left eye that form a triangle, something only Anna has!
I swallow hard, fighting back the sobs that threaten to overwhelm me.
"I'm here now, Anna. I'm here, and I won't leave you again…"
Ah…
How long has it been?
Twenty years…
Twenty years I've been looking for her, finding a way to break into this damn world!
But for Anna, it's even worse. Because of the time flow differences, to her, it's already been four hundred years…
I can't possibly imagine how hard it has been for her…
"I'm sorry, I couldn't come find you sooner…"
