There's no elaborate ceremony or anything like that. Just a word from the Leader, and I have officially become the 13th Ocular.
"Shall we meet the others?" Seraphiel says.
"Yep." I nod.
With a snap of his fingers, woosh! The twelve other Oculars are immediately summoned next to me.
"EH???" Mirayuki looks utterly confused. "What happened? Is it over already?"
"Haha, looks like we missed something interesting!" Lord Astrael laughs.
Meanwhile, Alice narrows her eyes, a faint smile on her lips.
"I see… you did well. Congratulations," she says.
"Thank you, Alice."
I reply, then quickly observe the reactions of other Oculars. The remaining half of the twelves are just as confused as Mirayuki, while the other half are more similar to Alice. They all narrow their eyes and seemingly lose their thoughts for a moment, then some smile and some nod their heads, but regardless, they all then take turns congratulating me.
