"KABOOM!!!"
The sound of an explosion rang through the ears of a figure dressed in black. The pitch-black night's silence was interrupted as the sound caused by a giant mech missile collided with the building side, collapsing into rubble. It wasn't a problem for the cloaked male as he leaped away.
[Having trouble?] A bright blue screen appeared beside the person as if taunting the masked figure's previous action.
"This'll be a piece of cake," The shadow-like figure mumbled. Clenching their fist producing a dagger with a dark black aura.
"RELEASE!"
Within the next second, the dagger had been engulfed in a familiar dark flame ready to slice its opponent in half. Leaping forward off the building, they lunged at the giant mech. Its missiles locked onto the figure were sliced into mere pieces as they passed. Without a second of rest, they jumped up from the ground with a familiar movement before slicing the mech's arm off.
"!!!" The giant metal machine's eyes reflected its dire situation and stomped on the ground, almost causing them to be launched into the sky. Grabbing onto one of the building railings, the hero stood their ground, glaring down at the foe before him.
[I'm not so sure that'll be 'a piece of cake'] The message window appeared for the male to see along with a small emoji-like mask that pointed out the enjoyment of the other.
"Watch me," He said before reaching his right hand and pointing at the mech. "ECLIPSE BLAST!"
On command, a similar black aura surrounded the hero's outstretched hand and charged, increasing in size. Before the mech could turn around to react, the blast was ready and shot straight, tearing into the robot and slicing its 'heart'.
"BOOM!"
The hero's extraordinary power caused the robot to explode, and the male walked away from the scene, not bothering to glance at the fight's remains. At the same time, a bright blue screen appeared in front of him.

[Excellent job, Eclipto dear~] A separate window appeared beside causing Eclipto to sigh aloud.
"I've told you to stop calling me that," Eclipto snapped at System's comment. "And stop giving me useless tasks. You know I don't particularly appreciate prolonging this. How long will it be until you actually face me?"
Despite being rejected harshly by Eclipto, the villain, System continued his attention pursuit.
[You know you're my favorite hero, right?]
[No singular hero has lasted as long as you have with my tasks and still intrigued me until the end]
"Well if you've got nothing important to say, I'll be taking my leave," Eclipto said, not even looking back as System hurriedly tried to get his attention again.
[Wait, wait! You're leaving already?]
[You've just finished a quest]
[Don't you wanna stay and do some stupid-hero-ideology talk?] The system asked but was met with a flowing cloak.
"System, it's the middle of the night. I will see you later." With that, Eclipto jumped from one building to the next, leaving System. System's camera realized the other was gone without a word.

[Ugh I guess he's right]

"Beep beep. Beep beep."
"..."
"Beep beep. Beep beep."
"...It's already morning?" The male asked himself as he rubbed his tired hazel eyes. The morning sun had risen and the alarm clock was starting to sound like a broken record. Yawning for what felt like the millionth time, he lazily pressed the alarm clock before getting out of bed and stretching his arms. Opening his room door, he walked directly across to the door parallel to his and knocked.
"Knock! Knock! Knock!... Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock!... Knock! Knock!...Scratch! Scratch! Scratch!" A fluffy-haired blond knocked several times in a certain order adding more marks to the already wounded wood. After a few seconds of shuffling, the door opened to reveal a messy computer room with a male reflecting the room's current state.
"Good Morning, Shio!" The intruding male said and the other sighed, rubbing his eyes.
"You know, you don't have to do that, right?"
"I just wanted to say 'Good Morning' to my favorite person!" Despite the genuineness of the blond, the other simply responded with a 'Good Morning' back before closing the door.
"Knock! Knock! Knock!... Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock!... Knock! Knock!...Scratch! Scratch! Scratch!" He knocked again and put his head to the door.
"What do you want-"
"Do you wanna build a snowman?"
"Hide, no-"
"Come on let's go and play!"
"Please don't-"
"I never see you anymore, come out the door-"
"Akihito Hide, don't you dare-"
"IT'S LIKE YOU'VE GONE AWAY!" Shio immediately opened the door and ran to the kitchen shouting back to the other.
"I'm out! I'm out!" As Shio ran out of his room with his hands covering his ears, Hide held his stomach from laughter.
Hide knew Shio's little sister loved that song so much that she would force him to listen to every single song on repeat for days at a time. So it was only natural that he would join in on the fun.
Finally regaining a certain degree of his composure back, he met Shio in the kitchen grabbing a bunch of energy and other caffeinated drinks and mixing them. Hide frowned before grabbing the drink and pouring it down the sink.
"What the heck, Hide?!" Shio tried to grab the drink from Hide's hand, but the other, simply being stronger, put the terrible substance down the drain, never to be seen again.
"Oh come on. You can't tell me you were actually going to drink that crap?" Hide said dragging out the word on to annoy Shio further.
"I need it. I pulled an all-nighter..." Shio mumbled quietly.
"Did you really?" Hīde asked.
"Yeah. I heard when you came home, but I didn't hear the front door open." Shio rested his long-light-blue hair along with his head on Hide's shoulders.
"O-oh. Are you sure it wasn't just your headphones blocking the sound?"
"No," Shio nonchalantly replied; head still on the other's shoulder. "You've been coming home later and later these days."
"It wasn't that late, was it?" Hide scratched the back of his head nervously.
"1:25 am," Shio paused. "and right after Eclipto and Systems fight." Hide flinched at Shio's change in tone and observation.
"..."
"I can expla-"
"You almost made me miss the ending of the fight and overview." Shio still lay hunched over Shio's back.
"Well, you know-" Hide tried to interrupt for what felt like the billionth time.
"You should know how important that data is to me as Eclipto's #1 fan." Shio boasted and lifted his weight off the blond's back (which he was grateful for as his roommate was starting to get heavy).
"Yeah, yeah." Hide said with a slight chuckle before thinking about Shio's slight obsession.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing just thought about something from school," Hide lied, looking at the time and grabbing his bag on the seat beside him. "...and speaking of school, I gotta go before I'm late. I'll catch you later Shio!"
"Whatever..." Shio's grumble was left on deaf ears as the extrovert was already running to his room to get ready for the day.

TAOH College (The Academy of Heroes)
TAOH College was just like any other college from the outside; it was just slightly different. Different in not its security levels (Although they were much higher than the average college), but rather their special courses that could only be taken at this particular college. On the outside, this college is known as TAOH College, but once accepted, most students call it, The Academy of Heroes. One of the students is our beloved Akihito Hide.
------------
"Holy crap! Am I late?!" Hide shouted to no one in particular as he slammed the classroom door open.
"Oh hey, guys!"
There was a group of people surrounding a table which Hide walked over to. One of the dudes called out to him loudly. "Hey, man! What's up? You're early for once."
"Hey Leon! Not much, just slept in- wait what do you mean early?"
"He means that you either got your brain all twisted up, or your time is just off by a lot," A red-haired girl answered while showing the time with her phone. "See? 8 am. Probs the earliest I've seen of you on campus."
Hide pulled out his phone which showed 9 am. "Hey, what do you mean? Mine says it's 9 right now?"
"Well, it's wrong 'cause all the clocks say it's 8. Here, come play cards with us." The redhead named Ayuka gestured for him to sit next to her and another girl with pink hair.
"What are we playing?"
"Tycoon."
"Oh Alright." Hide said playing the group card game until class started.
-------------------
"Ding! Ding!"
"Finally, the bell!" Hide stretched his arms as he looked relieved until he was quickly reminded.
"You seem to have forgotten, but we have a patrol tonight." The pink-haired girl nudged Hide slightly.
"Oh c'mon! Hana...please can you convince them to move that tomorrow? I patrolled last night-" Hide pouted, but was quickly shut down.
"When you weren't supposed to, idiot." Cho Hana said, emphasizing the insult.
"Hey! You know I could never turn down a system challenge!" Hide tried to defend his previous actions earning a side-eye.
"What? Is it because you seem to have taken a liking to this...villain? Hide? Or is it because you're a masochist-"
"HANA!" Hide quickly checked if anybody else was in the empty room. "No! Why would you think that?" Hana looked up and down at Hide before rolling her eyes.
"Because it is either you like System or your roommate since that is all you talk about."
"Hey! Don't just assume things!" Hide's expression changed to an embarrassed flush as he continued his denial. "Plus I think Shio's cuter…"
"What did I just hear- actually never mind I don't want to know what you said?" Hana said as she decided to leave it. I'll see you later, Eclipto."
"Fine Lotus."
----------------------
The night was still, well as still as it could be.
Car lights flashed on the streets below with few civilians walking. The city was always busy, and so were the students of TOAH. Two students, in particular, were standing above this action on a building that towered over the entire city.
"Hey, sit up. You look like you could fall over the ledge any second." A tall female with long silky white hair and a flowy teal blue outfit that fit her perfectly tightening around every curve.
"I'll be fine Lotus..." The other mumbled into his arms that were crossed as he was sitting with his legs to his chest.
"You know...if your biggest fan saw you acting like this, they'd be extremely concerned." The elegant lady sat beside him with her legs hanging off the building.
"True, but that's how I act when there's camera's cause-"
"Hero Eclipto is a cold person who only cares about giving villains hard cold justice," Lotus said in a voice that wasn't hers, imitating the news when Eclipto first became a hero.
"Oh shut up." Eclipto covered his ears, not wanting to hear those words ever again.
"I laughed my ass off when I heard the news." Lotus chuckled at how embarrassed the other got.
"I only acted emotionally constipated, because I literally felt constipated. Why'd my first job as a hero have to be when I felt sick to my stomach!" He complained.
"It was pretty funny how you were trying to avoid every single reporter on your way out and ended up being named 'the silent hero' because of the incident," Lotus smirked a bit, seeing as Eclipto wanted to dig and hole in the ground and die in it.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Let's just get out of here," Eclipto got up and started walking. "I'm going to call it a night." Following his lead, Lotus agreed.
"Guess no asses to kick tonight." She shrugged before jumping off the building and leaving Eclipto.
