Chapter 4 - MOUNTAIN OF OPORTUNITY

After being beaten by his family, Subh decided to leave and head toward the distant mountains, determined to find solace and strength. To afford temporary treatment, he sold everything he owned, each item a painful reminder of the life he was leaving behind. He earned 200 low-grade spirit coins from these sales. He spent 120 coins on medical care, hoping to mend his wounds, and 20 coins on food to sustain him. With the remaining money, he began his arduous journey to the mountains.

As he traveled deeper into the rugged terrain, the weight of his injuries bore down on him. Blood trickled from his mouth, each step more excruciating than the last. After hours of trudging through the wilderness, he finally reached a cave. Exhausted and weak, he thought of resting there. But the loss of blood proved too much, and he collapsed, unconscious.

In the darkness, a shadowy figure appeared, its presence mysterious and foreboding. The figure moved its hand over Subh's head, and slowly, he began to stir. When he finally woke up, he felt different—stronger, somehow.

Subh muttered to himself, "Huh... I don't feel weak anymore. I think I'm more powerful than before."

In truth, his newfound strength was merely the absence of the debilitating weakness he had suffered from homovascular erosion. Now free from its grip, he felt invigorated, though his true power remained unchanged.

Determined to reclaim his life, Subh awoke before dawn each day, ready to train his physical body despite lacking spiritual powers. He started with stretching exercises for two to five minutes, then moved on to a series of yoga postures. Subh flowed through Surya Namaskar, Tadasana, Bhujangasana, Trikonasana, and Padmasana, dedicating thirty to forty minutes to each exercise. Following this, he completed three hundred dands and practiced martial arts forms like Kalaripayattu and Gatka, honing his skills with unwavering dedication.

Years passed in rigorous training, shaping Subh into a formidable warrior. One day, he ventured deep into the forest to test his strength. Moving stealthily, he remained alert to the sounds and sights around him. Suddenly, he spotted a massive tiger prowling through the underbrush.

"There is a big tiger," Subh whispered to himself. "I can test my training on this tiger."

Approaching the tiger silently, Subh steadied his breathing. He launched a swift attack, driving his fist into the tiger's stomach. The impact broke the tiger's ribs, causing the beast to roar in pain and fury. The tiger turned to bite Subh, but his reflexes, honed through years of training, allowed him to dodge the brutal attack.

With a quick, powerful strike, Subh landed another punch on the same spot. The force of his blow rendered the tiger unconscious.

"HAHAHAHA, I HAVE REALLY GOTTEN STRONGER," Subh exclaimed, standing over the fallen tiger. "NOW I CAN MATCH NEWLY TRAINED SPIRITUAL POWER USERS. I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN SUPREME BEING 1, SARVAJAYA, AND KILL THO—"

His victory was short-lived as the exertion overwhelmed him. Subh collapsed, unconscious from the effort.

An unknown figure who had saved him once before appeared again. This time, instead of disappearing, the figure stayed by Subh's side, waiting patiently for him to awaken.

When Subh finally opened his eyes, he saw the unfamiliar face of his rescuer.

"I think I got tired because of that fight with the tiger," Subh said, sitting up slowly. "But now I feel good. Who are you?"

The stranger smiled, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "You fought well with that tiger, despite not having any powers."

Subh blinked in confusion. "Who are you? And how are you here?"

The man chuckled. "I live here in this mountain. My name is Sarva."

"You live here alone? And how do you know I don't have any power?" Subh asked, still trying to process the situation.

"Everyone can sense if someone has power or not and how powerful they are. You didn't tell me about yourself."

"Ah, sorry. I am Subh from the Abhi Clan. Can you tell me if a person without any power can still sense power?"

Sarva nodded. "Yes, you can sense it even if you don't have power."

Subh's eyes widened with hope. "Can you teach me how to sense power?"

"It's a skill that doesn't require you to possess power yourself. It's about understanding the subtle energies around you, observing body language, and sensing the vibrations others emit. Even if you can't use any power yourself, you can still develop this ability. It's more about perception than practice. Are you willing to learn?"

"You bet I am! I want to learn everything that you can teach me."

"Hmm, you seem determined. I think you need to become powerful. Do you have something to do? Or do you just want to become strong?"

"I want to kill the person who killed my grandma and show everyone who thinks I am weak and powerless."

"Power, huh... I think you can become powerful."

"Yes, and I will surpass the Supreme Being 1 and become the strongest being in this universe, omniverse, or multiverse."

"You want to surpass him?"

"Yes, and I will."

"I will help you do that."

"Then let's start training."

"Not now. First, rest for a day."

"Okay, Guruji."

"Let's go home."

"Okay."

"So, this is our small home where we will live."

"What the... It's a cave, not a house."

"Oh, do houses look different from caves?"

"Yes, a cave and a house are different."

"Hmm, then it's your duty to make this cave a house."

"But I can't make a house. I don't know how."

"Hahaha, I'm joking, kid. Don't be serious. This is just an illusion. Let's enter."

"What? It's an illusion? Everything feels real. It's like a real thing; I can touch and feel everything. It's not like a normal illusion."

"Hmm, yes, this is not a normal illusion. It's a very powerful illusion that feels real as you see and feel it."

"Wow, can I also make an illusion like this?"

"You want to surpass Supreme Being 1, then you have to make more powerful illusions than this."

"Yes, Guruji. I will train hard and surpass Supreme Being 1."

"Hahaha, yes, yes. Now let's go to our home."

Sarva removed the illusion and entered his house with Subh.

The house is a cozy retreat nestled in a tranquil forest clearing. Its modest wooden exterior, adorned with potted plants, blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Inside, simplicity reigns, with soft sunlight illuminating a snug living space furnished for comfort. The compact kitchen is equipped for basic needs, while a narrow hallway leads to a peaceful bedroom, offering respite from the world. Outside, a tiny garden plot invites greenery, while a hammock beckons for relaxation under the trees. Despite its small size, Sarva's house is a charming haven filled with warmth and tranquility.

"Wow, it's not that big, but it's so good."

"Hahaha, I live alone, so I didn't think about the size of the house. But still, there is the storeroom you can live in."

"Storeroom?"

"Yes, if you don't want to live in the storeroom, you can live outside of the house. There's no need to live in the storeroom."

"No, no, I can live in the storeroom. I am grateful to you, Guruji, for providing me a house."

"Kid, there is no need to feel gratitude. I can give you a house, but you have to hunt and make food for both of us."

"Okay, Guruji, I will pay the rent by making food for you and doing household work."

"Hmm, you are not that bad, kid."

"Haha."

"It's already late. Go and sleep; you have training to do tomorrow."

"Yes, Guruji."

Subh went to his room, cleaned it, and then went to sleep.

Subh went to his room, cleaned it, and then went to sleep.

The next morning, Sarva began Subh's training with rigorous physical exercises to build his strength and stamina. They climbed steep mountain paths, carried heavy stones, and practiced martial arts in the forest. Each day was filled with intense physical challenges that pushed Subh to his limits.

"Your body must be as strong as your will, Subh," Sarva would say, pushing him to continue even when he was exhausted.

In addition to physical training, Sarva taught Subh meditation techniques to enhance his mental fortitude and focus. They spent hours sitting in silence, learning to control their breathing and clear their minds of distractions. This was crucial for sensing the subtle energies around them.

"To perceive power, you must first master your own mind," Sarva explained during one of their meditation sessions.

As weeks turned into months, Subh's abilities grew. He learned to sense the presence of animals in the forest before seeing them, and he could feel the faint vibrations of energy in the air. His physical strength and agility also improved significantly.
