"And who is this?" Sasrir glanced at Klein at this moment. Of course, He had already noticed the traveler accompanying Lynn. As the half master of the Sea of Chaos, Sasrir could sense the aura of Door of Light at the other party.
However, Sasrir hadn't found the right moment to ask earlier. Now that the opportunity arose, He naturally wanted to probe the individual's background.
"This is my little companion..." Lynn patted Klein on the shoulder and, with a smile, gestured, "Introduce yourself!"
For a moment, whether it was Sasrir, Medici, or even the child Amon still being held in hand, all looked toward Klein.
If it were an ordinary Sequence 2 Beyonder, they might feel immense pressure in this situation. However, as someone who had received memories from the future Fool and traveled with Lynn, a Miracle Invoker who had encountered multiple Sequence 0 Beyonders, Klein faced the gaze of three Kings of Angels with calmness. He merely smiled and said, "Hello, I'm Merlin, a Miracle Invoker traveling with Lynn."
"Miracle Invoker... pfft!" Medici snorted. It wasn't that He looked down on Miracle Invokers, but He had noticed that Klein's introduction wasn't entirely accurate.
How could a typical Miracle Invoker possibly travel with someone like Lynn?
"Hello, Mr. Merlin." Sasrir remained composed, only smiling as He said, "Since you're a friend of Lynn's, you're our friend as well. If you need anything, feel free to ask me."
"Thank you," Klein responded politely.
After some small talk, Lynn, who couldn't stand the polite atmosphere, interjected, "Alright, alright. I know you don't trust each other, so there's no need for more probing. After all, we're all Earthlings and will fight together to protect this world in the future. Let's not dwell on trivialities."
Hearing this, a flash of understanding passed through Sasrir's eyes.
'So, he is indeed the future Lord of Mysteries!' With this thought, Sasrir glanced at Amon beside Him, feeling a slight sense of pity. But when He recalled Amon's various misdeeds, He concluded that this outcome wasn't so bad.
The future of this world certainly couldn't be handed to a child.
Hmm, though if it were someone like Lynn, that might be acceptable.
Sasrir added this thought inwardly. Then, remembering something, He asked, "Will you be staying here this time, or...?"
Having only memories of the Second Epoch, Sasrir knew of Lynn's peculiarity, recognizing that He might travel across different times and spaces. However, the difference between avatars and travel wasn't clear to Him yet.
Then again, aside from Lynn, probably very few people could make that distinction.
"I won't be staying long, just traveling! I'll probably stay for a few months and then leave," Lynn didn't hide the truth. "I have other things to attend to, like fulfilling a promise to Antigo."
"Is there anything you need my help with?" Sasrir asked immediately.
Lynn explained the matter of the Chess of Blasphemy again, and Sasrir, of course, didn't refuse Lynn's request. He nodded and agreed to help spread the word.
Due to His many official duties, Sasrir didn't stay long. After chatting briefly with Lynn, He bade farewell to everyone and returned to work.
After Sasrir left, Lynn picked up the small Amon and smiled brightly at Him, saying, "Come on, I'm giving you a chance. Call me teacher."
"Bah!" Amon refused.
"Sigh, I'm giving you a chance, but you don't appreciate it..." Lynn wasn't hit by Amon's attack and merely shook His head. Then, with a brilliant smile, He said, "Don't worry, even though I'll only stay for a few months, I will make sure you learn to see life correctly and become a proper person."
Seeing that bright smile, Amon couldn't help but shiver.
Medici, observing the scene, reminded, "Don't go too far. After all, He's still the child of the Lord."
"Come on, you know what kind of person I am. I'm not going to actually mistreat Him," Lynn rolled His eyes at Medici's distrust. Then He added meaningfully, "Besides, if I don't correct Him, you'll be the one to suffer."
Medici fell into contemplation.
Lynn, however, didn't elaborate further. He pulled out a book titled Basic Applications of Psychology from somewhere.
"First, let's learn about the circumstances under which someone lacks empathy..."
Thus, young Amon's difficult life began.
Of course, Lynn wouldn't be cruel enough to abuse a child mythical being. But as a mature troublemaker, Lynn clearly understood how to discipline a child and make them obedient and willing to learn.
Additionally, as someone with substantial experience in psychology—primarily as a patient—Lynn knew how to treat another troublemaker. He carefully examined Amon's condition, from the physical to the psychological, from divinity to humanity, and tailored a thorough treatment plan.
Throughout this time, Klein also played a significant role, actively participating in Amon's re-education plan and successfully becoming the second most hated person in Amon's life, right after Lynn.
Time passed by in this manner, and in the blink of an eye, three months had gone by. By the time Lynn was ready to leave, the Chess of Blasphemy had become well-known thanks to Sasrir and the others. Lynn chose a good day to distribute the Chess to worthy individuals. As for Amon, He had changed just a bit.
At the very least, whether it was genuine or not, Amon now appeared to be a well-behaved child without any signs of antisocial behavior.
"Although I know most of your behavior is just an act, I hope you remember what I taught you. Humanity is something that all high-sequence Beyonders pursue for a reason. If you don't truly acquire humanity, you will never understand where you fall short. Even without me, you'll never win this war. At best, you'll become a vessel for the awakening of the Celestial." Lynn patted Amon's head and said meaningfully.
"Even if you don't believe me, you should trust your father and your brother. They are both pursuing humanity. Why should you give it up?"
Amon's face remained innocent, as though He didn't understand a word of what Lynn was saying.
Lynn didn't mind. Having already said His farewells to Sasrir and the others of this timeline, He stretched and looked toward Klein, asking, "How was this trip? Pretty nice, right? No need to worry about promotion or the apocalypse. Don't you feel like your humanity has stabilized a bit?"
