Chapter 79 - Chapter 79: The Gaze of the True Creator

'For someone like me who inherently possesses knowledge, understanding it is obviously not an issue. But for those newcomers to the Beyonder world, they might just fall asleep while reading it. So, I need to first settle the issue of textbooks—at least have a systematic learning curriculum.'

Lynn pondered seriously. The first batch of students for the Eye of Secrets would undoubtedly be taught by him personally. These would primarily be ordinary people who had not yet formally encountered the Beyonder world. Such individuals were the cleanest slates and most susceptible to his influence, making them the core members of the Eye of Secrets and Lynn's most devout followers.

Whether Lynn could effectively teach this initial batch of students would largely determine the foundation of the Eye of Secrets. Future members would certainly have to rely on these initial students for instruction since Lynn couldn't possibly teach each new recruit himself.

That's not to say Lynn wouldn't teach anymore; he would just select a portion of the students for personal guidance rather than taking on all the work himself.

To teach a batch of students well, beyond the students' own aptitude, qualified teaching standards, and suitable learning environments, textbooks were crucial.

Without a systematic curriculum, both students and teachers would suffer through the learning process.

'If it were anyone else in this situation, they'd probably be flustered. But I'm different. Even though I can't compile a textbook myself, I can use ready-made ones!' Lynn's eyes lit up.

'The Abraham family was prosperous in the Fourth Epoch; they must have some relatively systematic textbooks. I might even be able to obtain textbooks from other families through Abraham's channels. Since it's just basic Beyonder knowledge, it shouldn't be too difficult. Although the Fourth Epoch's circumstances are different from the Second Epoch, common knowledge shouldn't vary too much. Anything else can be manually modified by me.'

Lynn rubbed his chin, his mind rapidly considering more options:

'And there's Silver City, which clearly has systematic textbooks. Although they might not perfectly match the Second Epoch's environment, they are still useful. Little Sun is so simple-minded; I could easily trade the Sun pathway's formulas with him for the textbooks. These formulas are meant to be traded anyway.'

Textbooks, for Lynn, were definitely the more, the better. Since no single textbook could perfectly match the Second Epoch's environment, Lynn himself would ultimately need to modify and compile them, so having more references was always beneficial.

'Besides, I'll need regular knowledge-related textbooks, especially literacy materials. Is my first step towards becoming a sage really literacy education? This feels unexpectedly wholesome.'

'In addition to literacy, I'll also need textbooks for subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry. My students can't go out into the world ignorant of these subjects. If the Eye of Secrets truly manages to endure, this will also lay the groundwork for me to play the role of a Hermit later on.'

As Lynn thought about it, he almost instinctively did what every teacher does—planned a full curriculum for his future students.

As for using his Mystery pryer pathway abilities to forcibly impart knowledge to his students, Lynn had considered it but dismissed the idea. The human brain is a delicate thing, and forcibly cramming it with information could easily cause problems. Unless he didn't care about his students' well-being, normal teaching methods were preferable.

Lynn wanted to produce competent students, not create enemies.

Of course, using Beyonder abilities to assist with teaching in moderation was still feasible.

'By the way, how did I end up as a wage slave? Is this the infectious nature of Sasrir's influence? Terrifying!' After roughly planning his future schedule, Lynn suddenly thought of something and couldn't help but complain.

But soon, Lynn smiled again, 'Well, my main account will only be busy for this period. Once this period is over, I could slack off even if my Smurf account is busy, it'll be fine. Even though I'm controlling both, it's sort of like slacking off.'

'Moreover, the ancient Sun God won't feel comfortable entrusting such a crucial future-influencing department solely to me, so I can naturally delegate a lot of work to Sasrir. They might even be happy to see me doing this.'

'I never intended to misguide the next generation of the divine kingdom. My goal is just to hold onto core members, steer the direction, ensure they don't stray, and have a reliable group who can digest potions. That's enough for me.'

As Lynn thought this, he suddenly noticed a huge shadow passing over the sky. Looking up, he saw a massive airship painted in deep black.

'It's finally here,' Lynn raised an eyebrow. He knew this was the airship sent by the Evernight Church, signaling the beginning of their official operation.

Indeed, after the airship stabilized over the dock area, three figures silently appeared outside the dock workers' dormitory. Leading them was a man carrying a silver-white metal suitcase, with a high collar and green eyes—Klein's former superior, the Sword of the Goddess, Crestet Cesimir.

This operation against the True Creator's divine descent vessel was evidently led by the high-ranking Red Glove himself.

'This setup is similar to the original, despite my warning. I thought they'd send someone higher-ranking. Could it be that the Evernight Church currently has no other demigods in Backlund? Or do they think Crestet Cesimir, with the holy artifact, is enough to handle Lanevus?'

Lynn rubbed his chin, pulling out a scroll to give himself another concealment buff while continuing to observe from a distance.

Soon, the battle at the dock workers' dormitory began. Since it took place inside the building, Lynn couldn't see the specifics, but he wasn't in a hurry and waited patiently.

Sure enough, after a few minutes, lights began to go out one by one inside the dormitory. Following that, a sensation that could make ordinary people tremble burst out from within, sweeping through the entire area.

It was a feeling that fundamentally crushed ordinary beings—the essence of divinity.

'This is really, thoroughly unpleasant,' Lynn muttered, frowning instinctively at the feeling akin to being force-fed strawberry-maple tofu. Due to his unique soul, the True Creator's divinity didn't affect him, but it still left an uncomfortable aftertaste.

Then, Lynn paused, sensing something unusual. At the source of the divinity, it felt like a gaze was directed at him for a brief moment.

The gaze of the True Creator.
